Wayne, December 6, 2017 – DLL received the Excellence in Benefits award at the Delaware Valley HR Department of the Year Awards Dinner on November 16. The company’s U.S. Human Resources Department was honored for providing a comprehensive and competitive benefits program to aid members in leading a healthy and financially-secure lifestyle.

“Our people are our most valuable asset, and we listen to their feedback and are continually adjusting our benefits programs to meet their changing needs,” said Jeff Berg, EVP North America at DLL. “We know benefits are key to securing top talent in a competitive marketplace, and we also consider them to be an important factor in maintaining good morale of our long-term employees.”

More than 95% of the respondents to the company’s annual survey in 2017 indicated that DLL’s overall benefits package met or exceeded their expectations. DLL offers PPO, EPO and HDHP medical plans, contributing 50% of the member’s HDHP deductible as a lump sum payment at the beginning of the year. DLL also offers financial investment support with a 401(k) plan in which members are automatically vested and receive a 4% match on their annual salary, bonuses and commissions.

Our people are our most valuable asset, and we listen to their feedback and are continually adjusting our benefits programs to meet their changing needs."

DLL recently announced a trio of family leave policies to provide enhanced support to its more than 1,300 members across the United States. Effective January 2018, all new parents will be entitled to four weeks of fully-paid parental leave. Birthing mothers are entitled to an additional eight weeks of paid leave followed by a two-week transition period in which they work 50% of their normal hours and receive 100% of their pay. Also new in 2018, members will be eligible for two weeks of fully-paid leave per year to care for a seriously ill family member.

“We see ourselves as leaders in the benefits value proposition and have been able to create a meaningful and successful program, with proven outcomes and satisfaction evidenced by our member feedback,” said Sean McManus, VP Human Resources. “Our brand motto, ‘See what counts’, says it all. Our team understands what really matters for our industry, our organization, and most importantly, our DLL members.”
