On Thursday 19th June, DLL China proudly received the Asia Pacific Vendor Finance Provider of the Year award in Beijing, China. Organized by the Leasing Committee of China Chamber of International Commerce together with the China Leasing Alliance, the Asia Pacific Leasing Awards 2014 is the first of its kind in this region.
“The Asia-Pacific Leasing Awards aims to highlight the importance of leasing industry in the domestic economy and to recognize the companies who have made great achievement and contributions, thus promoting Asia Pacific leasing industry to a better future,” comments the Awards Judging Panel. DLL China has been selected as the winner of the Asia Pacific Vendor Finance Provider of the Year award as “recognition of DLL’s long-term support and significant contribution to the leasing industry”.
On behalf of DLL, China Country Manager Anthony Cheng accepted this award.
“China’s leasing industry has experienced rapid growth. The level of competition has grown dramatically in the space of only a few years,” explains Anthony. “Being recognized as the leading Vendor Finance Provider in this region, and under such market conditions, speaks great volumes about our work as well as the commitment of our people. I feel extremely proud and honored to accept this award on behalf of the whole team.”
As a guest of honor, DLL was also invited to present the Vendor of the Year Award to Sidel Machinery, a global manufacturer providing packaging for liquids with whom DLL is currently under partnership discussions with.
With support from key industry associations such as the Beijing Leasing Association and China Construction Machinery Association, as well as China central government bodies including the State Administration of Taxation, Ministry of Transport, Supreme Court of the People, Tianjin Municipal government officials, Shanghai Pilot Free Trade Zone and MOFCOM, winning an award at this level certainly raise the profile of DLL across China and the region for a promising future.
