Yke Hoefsmit was appointed Chief Risk Officer (CRO) and member of the Executive Board of DLL in March 2021. In this capacity, she is responsible for the company’s risk organization.

Prior to joining DLL, Hoefsmit worked for Rabobank where she has held several international relationship management and risk positions of increasing scope and management responsibility. In her last role with Rabobank, she served as Head of Financial Restructuring International for the Wholesale and Rural segments. In this capacity, she was responsible for more than € 13 Billion of assets with clients managed by her teams in North America, South America, ANZ, Asia and Europe.

Ms. Hoefsmit has studied in both the Netherlands and USA, having completed her Master in Business Studies at the Rotterdam School of Management (Erasmus) on the topic of Securitization, after an exchange at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business. More recently, she participated in the INSEAD executive program, Leading Across Borders and Cultures, and the Technology executive program at Singularity University.
