Wayne, PA – January, 4, 2017 – DLL, a global provider of asset-based financial solutions, has been named the Delaware Valley HR Department of the Year for 2016. The company also received the Award for Excellence in the Wellness category.

DLL’s HR Department was honored during the Nov. 17 Awards Dinner for its functional expertise, positive member impact and close alignment with the company’s overall business strategy. “Alignment is key,” HR VP Sean McManus said. “We have thoughtfully and purposely set up the goals and priorities of our HR department to support and further the strategies of our company as a whole. Even though the day-to-day job functions of someone in the Human Resources department vary greatly from what most would consider the ‘core business’ functions of DLL, it’s essential to operate with the understanding that every member of this company – from recruiting manager to CEO – is doing their job in support of the exact same goals.”

DLL delivers original, integrated financial solutions that support the complete asset life cycle in the industries of Agriculture, Food, Healthcare, Clean Technology, Transportation, Construction, Industrial and Office Technology. The company collaborates with equipment manufacturers, dealers and distributors in more than 35 countries to enable businesses to obtain and use the assets they need to contribute meaningfully to the world. DLL’s offerings include vendor finance, commercial finance, life cycle asset management, consumer finance, leasing and factoring.

The Delaware Valley HR Department of the Year Awards were founded in 1998, with the goal of raising the bar for HR professionals, recognizing how they have shaped the accomplishments of their organizations. Winners are determined based on written applications and onsite meetings with key members of each company’s HR department and CEO or member of the Senior Executive Team.

It’s essential to operate with the understanding that every member of this company– from recruiting manager to CEO – is doing their job in support of the exact same goals."
