Wayne, PA - Several DLL representatives attended Cradles to Crayons’ 8th Annual Un-Gala event on Saturday, December 5th to present the organization with a check for $8,325. The money was raised by DLL members at the company’s 10th annual Wing Bowl competition on Friday, November 13. The competition is part of DLL’s annual Charitable Giving Campaign, during which employees raise funds for several local non-profit organizations. Each Wing Bowl competitor was asked to raise a minimum of $200 to participate, and members were encouraged to make additional donations throughout the competition.
Since 2013, DLL has supported Cradles to Crayons in its efforts to provide children from birth through age 12, living in homeless or low-income situations, with the essential items they need to thrive. In addition to generous financial support, DLL members have volunteered in the Cradles to Crayons warehouse and have assisted in a variety of projects. DLL has also coordinated the collection of new & gently-used children’s items, providing invaluable support in helping Cradles to Crayons keep children safe and warm.
